Das indische Parlament hat der Öffnung des Mehrmarkeneinzelhandels für FDI bis zu einer Obergrenze von 51% zugestimmt. Der Markteinstieg könnte sich für ausländische Investoren dennoch schwierig gestalten. Das zeigt der Fall von Pionier Ikea im Einmarkeneinzelhandel, wo FDI bereits seit November 2011 und sogar bis zu 100% erlaubt sind.
